​December 2018 bulb planting

In early December members of the New Providence Garden Club planted about 300 daffodils and 12 hyacinths at the Municipal Center including the area by the memorial for Marjan Nirou Saniee, Rec. Dept. Art Instructor, creator & head of the New Providence Public Art Committee, artist and former garden club member. Some bulbs were also added to the gardens at the Saltbox Museum.

Garden Club Members Plant 450+ Bulbs in the Borough's
Centennial Park

On October 15, 2011, members planted over 450 daffodil bulbs. The community beautification project was spearheaded by member Patty S. and designed in conjunction with New Providence Public Works Manager, Jimmy Johnston and landscape architect, Jeff Grobe. The bulbs were donated by the club.
